After taking some time for motherhood and practicing yoga with her boys, she dedicated herself to yoga once again with an open heart, realizing yoga's powerful ability to integrate the mind, body and spirit. Suzette wanted to learn more about yoga and how to share it with others, resulting in her 200 hour certification in 2009 from Lotus Gardens Yoga. Suzette teaches from the heart. Her personal practice is thoughtful and honest, and her intention is to create that same environment for her students. Her classes are open to all levels. Students are guided through a series of yoga postures to warm the body with attention to alignment, followed by floor work for deeper stretches and mindful relaxation. She continues to deepen her practice by attending workshops, and by practicing at home and in studios. Suzette's other interests include reading, cooking, and lying in savasana.

Former owner/director of Shanti Yoga Studio and Massage Therapy in Marbledale Ct, brings with her a background in yoga, dance, bodywork, and more. Kristin has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and teaching in and around the New Milford area for over 10 years. She teaches with a style that is accessible, fun, and spiritually awakening. Kristin has her 200 hour Hatha Yoga certification through Lotus Gardens and is continuing on for her 500 hour certification at Kripalu. For Kristin, yoga is a lifelong study and has trained with several great teachers including Shiva Rea, a leader in Vinyasa Yoga.

She teaches all levels Hatha yoga with an emphasis on Vinyasa flow yoga. Although vinyasa is closest to Kristin’s' heart, she incorporates different styles of yoga into her teaching. Kristin believes yoga is an individual journey of the Self and directs the student to follow their own inner teacher. Through a keen awareness of the body, correct alignment, hands on adjustments, and the use of yoga props she will help facilitate a sadhana (practice) that will deepen your appreciation and understanding of yoga and your body. Kristin is also a licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Infant Massage Teacher, HypnoBirthing Practitioner, and is certified in Pre Natal and Children's Yoga.

Estrella has been performing for over 30 years. She was raised in the West Indies and Bahamas: Puerto Rico, Grand Turk and Antigua
Where she was exposed to Calypso, African and Latin rhythms.
She migrated to the USA with her family when she was 15 years old. Where later she trained in the art of Mid Eastern Dancing from great masters such as Serena, Morocco, Nourhan Sherif, and Laylamary and Shoshanna.

Since then performances include weddings, parties, night clubs such as Cleopatra's, Le Palace, Kashbah, Lincoln Center, La Fleur de Lis, Le Cordon Bleu, Haflas, and Senior Citizen homes. She is known for her graceful arms and electrifying energetic performances.

Abby is the creator and performer of the one woman show, "Dancing Backwards" which played off Broadway and toured at several locations including the Center of Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, NY. She has performed in plays and musicals throughout the city and was a stand-up comedian for eight years.

Abby has studied under the following people:
Lee Theodore, founder of the American Dance Machine; Haruki Fugimoto, Hollins College Dance Professor and lead in Pacific Overtures on Broadway; Frank Hatchett, formerly of Broadway Dance Center; Luigi, Luigi Dance Center (Still teaching!! Have been taking class with him recently -- amazing!);Liz Williamson, Alvin Ailey original company member (she was the feature dancer in the original parasol dance under Alvin).

Abby now concentrates on commercials, lifestyle modeling, Zumba
and her family. She lives in Millbrook with her husband and son.

Suzette Caldwell
Beginning at a young age Suzette studied ballet and dance for 10 years. After giving up dance for sports, she gave yoga a try on a whim while searching for a workout that would continue to increase her flexibility as well. She fell in love with yoga instantly and found it challenged her more mentally and physically than she ever expected.
